About the Role
Our client is hiring multiple Senior Account Managers to drive new business and expand existing accounts in key U.S. metro markets. This is a “bring-and-grow” role where you’ll ideally migrate a portion of your existing book, expand wallet share, and continue hunting net-new opportunities.
You’ll own your relationships long-term with no account redistribution or clawbacks. There are no vertical restrictions and no territory restrictions, making this a great fit for sellers who bet on themselves and want the freedom to build a business within the business.
Responsibilities
· Manage and grow a portfolio of customer relationships as the long-term account owner
· Migrate and expand an existing book of business while actively hunting net-new accounts
· Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover infrastructure, cloud, security, and services needs
· Sell across a broad IT solutions stack: hardware, software, cloud, networking, data center, security, and MSP/recurring services
· Coordinate internal resources (engineers, architects, specialists) to design solutions and move deals forward
· Build and maintain a healthy pipeline within your target metro and surrounding radius (~50 miles)
· Proactively visit customers and prospects to deepen relationships (travel strongly encouraged; expenses reimbursed)
· Close business efficiently, with fast internal approvals and minimal bureaucracy
Qualifications
· Minimum 3+ years of IT sales experience (non-negotiable)
· Background in MSP, VAR / systems integrator, data centers, security, or cloud solutions strongly preferred
· Existing book of business preferred with proven customer relationships that follow the rep
· Proven ability to hunt for new business while expanding and retaining long-term accounts
· Relationship-first, consultative selling approach (not dependent on brand recognition)
· Comfortable working autonomously with a high level of accountability
· Confident, coachable, and motivated by ownership and uncapped earnings
· Nice to have: CRM exposure to Microsoft Dynamics
